This is the first post on blog.datadrivenconsulting.com - I'll be using this space to highlight software (and other media, even user manuals) that have great user interaction, constructively criticize practices that don't work, and provide methods that help you get more out of your current BI or analysis tool.
Sometimes I'll go off on a rant about a product, often a Microsoft product - not because they have particularly bad interaction design, but more that we have to use them every day and they have the people and resources to get it right - I apologize in advance, but I'll also try to provide solutions that will improve the result.
